About me
I am a "peasant girl" in heart and soul with great interest in animals. Has both worked on a ranch in the USA and researched meat quality in Australia. Now happy to help meat farmers when needed and train horses for practical use. Now also works part time as a replacement on dairy farms. I am a trained food agronomist and have worked in the food industry for over 15 years.
Horses have been my main interest since I was little. There is nothing inherited, as my parents did not share my interest. It was I who had to nag them that I would get a horse.
Horsemanship has probably always been for me, even though I did not know about it. When I was in my teens, my farrier used to scold me that I always had my horses loose when he shod. "Yes, but it works," I said and he could only agree! It is the power of habit…
Today I have worked with horses in many different ways and in different countries. But I think it is most important that you actually use your horse. I learned a lot when I worked on a ranch in the USA and rode some distance down in Australia. In addition, I now work a lot with cold blood, driving and inexperienced horses. Very rewarding and educational.
